Course Description
This 60-minute skill boost was developed to address the need for training in recognizing and caring for head, neck and spinal injuries and for muscle, bone and joint injuries, including training in the use of a rigid splint and a sling and binder. Participants must be certified in First Aid and/or CPR or enrolled in an equivalent Red Cross course to take this skill boost.

Cancellation Policy
Students may cancel a class without penalty more than 2 weeks before a class session. Between 2 weeks and 48 hours before a session, a 50% of session price fee will be charged. A cancelation less than 48 hours before a session or if the student no-shows, 100% of the session price will be charged. Students may reschedule to another class session without penalty up to 48 hours before the session start time (may not be possible for all classes). Any enrolled student who does not show up to an enrolled class (within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time) without notice or request for change or cancelation is not entitled to a refund, credit, voucher, or transfer to another class. Under no circumstances will a student be granted a refund, change, or voucher if there is no notice of absence before the class.
