At ProACT Academy, our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower students with the knowledge and skills to act confidently in emergency situations. Founded by UW–Madison nursing student Jared Lemminger, ProACT was created to honor his grandmother’s legacy as a nurse and American Red Cross volunteer—and to ensure that life-saving education is accessible, affordable, and rooted in excellence.
We believe that ordinary people can do extraordinary things when equipped with the right tools. That’s why we focus on hands-on, high-quality training that builds confidence, fosters preparedness, and strengthens our communities.
ProACT Academy is proud to be a Licensed Training Provider of the American Red Cross, an accredited Health & Safety Institute (HSI) training center, and an accredited member of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Group. We offer CEUs through both CAPCE and IACET.
Our courses include First Aid, CPR, AED, Babysitting, Lifeguarding, Emergency Medical Response, First Aid for Severe Trauma, and more. Whether you're taking your first class or preparing to become an instructor, ProACT is here to support your growth every step of the way.
