Class Description

An abbreviated Basic Life Support course for those with a valid or expired by less than 30 days. Basic Life Support (BLS) recertification courses allow you to update your skills, refresh your memory and extend your certification by two years. Designed for those whose credentials are still valid (or within 30 days of expiring), our abbreviated BLS renewal courses make it possible to avoid a lapse in certification so you can stay certified and stay on the job. To renew your BLS certification, you can register for a review course, which is an abbreviated version of the instructor-led course that allows experienced participants to obtain their certification in an expedited format. To be eligible to participate in the review course, you must possess an American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification, or equivalent (current or expired by no more than 30 days). If your American Red Cross BLS certification is about to expire (or has expired and you're within 30 days of its expiration), you can enroll in an abbreviated recertification BLS course (a review course) and get recertified for two more years. If your certification expired more than 30 days prior to your review course, you'll have to complete the full BLS certification course in order to regain your certification.

Change and Cancellation Policy

You may drop or reschedule a class until 48 hours before the in-person class session. After 48 hours, funds are forfeited, and no changes may be made. We understand that plans change. Cancelations made with more than 14 days' notice are not subject to penalty; less than 14 days to 7 days are assessed a 25% charge; less than seven days to 48 hours are assessed a 50% charge. If you cancel a class, the cancellation charge will be deducted from the cost of your class. Any remaining value will be provided as an eCredit that can be used towards the purchase of another class or product. Rescheduling less than seven days to 48 hours will be assessed a $20 charge, plus the difference in cost (if applicable).
