Class Description

The purpose of a challenge course is to allow participants to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency outside of a formal class setting. Participants have sole responsibility to prepare for the knowledge and skill evaluations. Anyone is eligible to participate in a challenge. Participants who do not pass the challenge course should be referred to a full course. They should not be allowed to attempt a challenge again, nor are they eligible to participate in the review course. Participants who hold current American Red Cross certificates (or equivalent) may challenge as often as the courses are available and their certificates remain valid. Resources for preparing for the challenge course will be provided upon enrollment. Pay a $25 deposit and only pay the full amount if you pass!

Change and Cancellation Policy

You may drop or reschedule a class until 48 hours before the in-person class session. After 48 hours, funds are forfeited, and no changes may be made. We understand that plans change. If they do, please cancel or reschedule in "My Classes" at least 48 hours before your class to maintain the value of your refund credit. Students who do not show up for a class without rescheduling or canceling their reservation will lose the value of their refund credit. Cancelations made with more than 14 days' notice are not subject to penalty; less than 14 days to 7 days are assessed a 25% charge; less than seven days to 48 hours are assessed a 50% charge. If you cancel a class, the cancellation charge will be deducted from the cost of your class. Any remaining value will be provided as an eCredit that can be used towards the purchase of another class or product. Rescheduling less than seven days to 48 hours will be assessed a $20 charge, plus the difference in cost (if applicable).
