Class Description

The purpose of the American Red Cross Administering Emergency Oxygen course is to give participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMs), and emergency oxygen. Course Prerequisites To be eligible for the Administering Emergency Oxygen course, a participant must have, at minimum, an American Red Cross Universal Certificate indicating Adult, Child, or Infant CPR or equivalent.

Change and Cancellation Policy

You may drop or reschedule a class until 48 hours before the in-person class session. After 48 hours, funds are forfeited, and no changes may be made. We understand that plans change. If they do, please cancel or reschedule in "My Classes" at least 48 hours before your class to maintain the value of your refund credit. Students who do not show up for a class without rescheduling or canceling their reservation will lose the value of their refund credit. Cancelations made with more than 14 days' notice are not subject to penalty; less than 14 days to 7 days are assessed a 25% charge; less than seven days to 48 hours are assessed a 50% charge. If you cancel a class, the cancellation charge will be deducted from the cost of your class. Any remaining value will be provided as an eCredit that can be used towards the purchase of another class or product. Rescheduling less than seven days to 48 hours will be assessed a $20 charge, plus the difference in cost (if applicable).
